Stock Futures Rise as Markets Hope for Iran Deal
Stocks looked set to edge higher and oil prices were falling on Tuesday as investors hoped for a peace deal to end the war in Iran, even as the U.S. blockade of the Strait of Hormuz stretched into a second day. Futures tracking the Dow Jones Industrial Average climbed 43 points, or 0.1%. S&P 500 futures added 0.1%, and contracts tied to the tech-heavy Nasdaq 100 gained 0.3%.
